Hi,

O.k., I'm quite positive you're referring to the "this sucks" comment. This
indeed also appalled me; it was highly unconstructive, and cowardishly left
anonymously.

I don't think we should make the commenting bit accessible to list members
only, especially as one of the things we're all hoping for is for other
people to start noticing Olympus. If they want to add some remarks etc. that
can contribute to the discussion about specific pictures I think they should
be allowed to do so.

Regarding monitoring the comments: as I'm hosting the next installment of
ADITL, I'm effectively god & master of what makes it there and what doesn't.
I don't like the idea of censorship, and didn't really plan on doing any of
that. However, I think you're right that unconstructive comments like that
(provided they're left there anonymously) only cause grieve and do not
contribute to the friendly atmosphere that surrounds the event. Therefore,
I'll monitor the comments a bit, and if I see anonymous comments of this
nature, I'll simply delete them. Nevertheless, if someone wants to leave
more or less unconstructive comments like this, and they do leave their
address/name with it, I shall investigate to see whether the person in
question really made that remark, or whether someone pretends to be someone
else. If necessary, I can then delete some of these comments if the person
in whose name the comments have been left consent to that.

I hope none of this censorship is necessary though, and I also hope the
president's discussion will not make their way to the ADILT3 comments. If
they will, I do indeed plan on proclaiming myself a god from the mountain
Olympus and will blast such comments away, muaaaawahhaaah!!! :)))

If it was a different comment from the one mentioned above, by all means
send it my way by means of my private e-mail address.

Then to answer Acer's question: yes, it's o.k. to get the pictures in you're
talking about. The official shooting date George and myself decided on was
December 22nd - January 1st. If need be, these constraints can even be
relaxed by a day or two, but both dates you mentioned were within the proper
interval.

Current status: I now have 6 submissions in my possession, and there's
definitely some nice stuff there!
Keep 'em coming guys, and let's make it an equally big success as the
previous 2 installments were.

Cheers!
Olafo
