Perhaps we should clarify this on the Lee Hawkins OM FAQ
A linear polarizer will give the wrong readings on the OM's
that have semi-silvered mirrors in the OM-{2S, 3(Ti), 4(Ti),
and PC}; however, OTF automatic exposure will still work
and automatic exposures will be corrected.
The semi-silvered models will need a circular polarizer for
correct spot metering.
