Mike offer to buy the OM-4 in the condition stated with the understanding
that if the camera is beyond repair, then you can request a refund.  The
seller is under a legal obligation to sell you the camera.  If he refuses,
then send him a demand letter and remind him. (Certified Letter/Received)

You can file a lawsuit in a District Court of your local Jurisdiction.
Check out the filing fees.  If he fails to perform and or reply/respond,
then this is more evidence that you can use to build your case.

Then you have to make the decision, if it's worth your time pursuing the
issue.  Keep us abreast of what occurs.
