Erm, the reciprocal of 100 is 0.01.  Should the formula be 1000/ASA?
That doesn't work either, since it would give a bigger aperture for
faster film (~5.6 for 200 ASA).  How about film speed/10?  Better, but
that gives a 2 stop smaller aperture for 1 stop faster film, which
doesn't sound right to me.
