Giles/etal: Well, Gary may have certainly put the kibosh on this but...I'd
like to part with my 24mm/F2 for a firm $400. I recently purchased the
lense from Paul Van Tuyl, The OlympusGuy, three months ago for $430. I
believe Paul rated it at a 9. The glass is clean inside, no signs of
fungus, aperture works fine throughout the entire range but...it has two
small spots on the perimeter on the rear element. Other than this,
cosmetically, it's perfect. OM Lens caps front and rear. I'll also throw
in a brand new OM hood for it.

If anyone is interested, buyer pays shipping of approximately $10. Money
orders or personal checks only. I'll fully refund the purchase price
provided my tamper evident sticker isn't removed and you contact me within 5
days of receipt. You can check our credibility profile on ebay at
caesar2@xxxxxxxxxxxx. My wife is an antique/collectibles dealer selling
predominantly on the net.

Let's keep the correspondence within the group for now - less my wife remove
my kahonas. (I just dropped $500 on an Epson 1200 photo printer to arrive
tomorrow unbeknownst to her!) Otherwise, you can contact me direct at
caesar2@xxxxxxxxxxxx.

Hi George

Thanks for the info. I know about this but the bags are conventional
camera bag style. What I want is a pelican you can wear on your back.

Thanks also for the info on the 24/2 - bummer! You seem to be doing
exactly what I have been thinking of. Remember I mentioned ditching the
35mm f2 for a 28mm f2?

Well, here is my plan - goodby 24mm f2 and 35mm f2 and hello 21mm f3.5,
28mm f2 and 35-80mm f2.8.

I think I have a 35-80mm lined up but it will be a couple of months before
I can get my hands on it.

Now how the hell am I going to get a good price on the 24mm f2 now Gary
has dropped his bomb shell?
