I got contacts in 1981 and have never regretted it. First, you can get your
eye really close toi the eyepiece lens. The first time I saw the entire
screen, I said "wow" and never looked back. Now that contacts are so
cheap, it's a good way to go. My first pair cost me over $150, I can now
order replacements over the phone, 12 pairs for less than $85.
