There's a company here in Houston that does powder coating work for the
oilfield precisely because of those qualities. When the oil business got
slow, they branched out - into lawn furniture refinishing. They claim that
they can refurbish old, rusty lawn furniture for much less than you can buy
new stuff, and they're doing a LOT of business.
