Is that a door? Is there a secret to getting it open? I've just been
admiring the purchases for their artistic and architectural beauty. Tell me
more about this film thing.

Don't worry, using the film isn't a problem. I belong to the 'shoot way to
much' school of photography. In fact, I'm leaning towards building a small
developing kit. Since many of my images will end up scanned, I figure I can
develop myself, have the latitude to push when desired, scan the results and
only have the exceptional printed. Haven't actually priced out if that
makes economic sense, as I can have the rolls developed for $3. I also have
a decent dye sublimation printer (Alps, inexpensive, amazing results), so
I'm combining my photography and computer hobbies.

Nobody said an obsession had to make sense, did they?
