What is the group's experience with them vs. eye glasses in terms of
being able to take pictures, etc? I had them once before a long time
ago, but my eyes tended towards dryness, which was a problem.
I have worn gas permeable contact lens for some years now, and always make
sure I have them in for photography. I now always struggle if I try to take
pictures wearing glasses - I never seem to be able to see the whole picture
through the view finder, and/or the picture isn't in focus. Having said that
I always seem to have trouble taking pictures in focus regardless:)
My suggestion would be to go for contact lens but you'll probably tend to
over rely on them as I do now. There is always the cost to consider as well,
insurance check ups etc. Don't do what I did recently and lose a pair. (not
whilst wearing them I hasten to add).
Dryness can be a problem, especially indoors with heating going full blast.
Our friends in the Southern hemisphere and other warmer climes probably
wouldn't understand.
Ever considered dioptric (hope I've spelt this right)correction in the
viewfinder? Could be an excuse for buying another body. As a last resort,
corrective surgery?
