Good question.

I found one set through the 35mm newsgroup. He posted that he was selling
an Olympus outfit. Interestingly, he is Private Investigator upgrading his
equipment. If only I had the negatives of what was shot with these cameras.
That kit included an OM-2S, OM-1n, 50 1.8, 28 2.8, 135 3.5 and a Winder 2.
It also included an off-brand 28 2.8, 35-135, 500 mirror, a Vivitar Series 1
70-210 and a flash (Vivitar 285 clone) and a nice little Lowepro bag. When
I bought it, I didn't know the OM-1 was going to be a 1n (don't think the
seller knew the difference), so that was a pleasant surprise.

The second, bigger set, I found on Classifieds2000 (www.classifieds2000.com)
by searching for the word Zuiko. He wanted a lot, but we negotiated for
awhile, and he ended up throwing in an extra OM-1 body. That one includes
the OM-4T Champagne and now three OM-1 (don't know which 1's yet), plus the
18 3.5, 24 2, 35 2, 50 1.4, 75-150 4, 135 3.5, 200 4, 300 4.5, a Winder 1,
and a complete Motor Drive 2, including two nicad packs. That was harder to
price, since the values are all over the range, but the 18 looked to be
worth at least $500, the 300 looked ot be worth at least $250, the 24 2
looked to be worth at least $250, the 35 2 looked to be worth at least $150,
the 200 looked to be worth at least $100. I figured the 4T at $400, the
OM-1 at $75 a piece and the MD2 outfit at $200.
500+250+250+150+100+500+75+75+75+200=$2175. That left $225 for the 50 1.4,
the 75-150 and the 135, which I valued at 50+50+50. So maybe I overpaid $75
or so (paid $2400 for the lot), but I think I'm undervaluing almost
everything. Opinions welcome. Even ones that tell me I'm an idiot. Oh
yes, he's throwing in miscellaneous accessories, which should be interesting
surprises.

I picked up one small set off ebay, which was an OM-4T, a Motor Drive 2 with
Nicads and an F280.

Picked up a lens here and there on ebay, probably wouldn't have if I'd know
I'd buy the packages.

Remember, I started this whole process with what I've owned for 20 years, an
OM-1MD Black, and OM-2MD Black, a 50 1.8, a Soligar 28 2.8, Vivitar 70-150
with 2X multiplier, a Winder 1 and a T32 with Bounce Grip 2. That served me
pretty well. I actually like the Vivitar.

So, that's how it came about. I'm 'out of the market' now. At least that's
my mantra---"You won't buy", "You won't buy". We'll see how well that goes.
