I use a Slik 700DX that has just enough heft. 3-way pannhead provides
ultra-smooth camera movement. Adjustable camera mounting screw for both
1/4" and 3/8". Dual axis bubble level for precise horizontal positioning.
Price is fairly reasonable around $140.

Giles just mentioned a fast, cheap tripod. I have a Bogen that weighs a
ton. Can anyone recommend a light tripod (not one of those super-metal,
super-expensive jobs) that would suffice for an Oly and up to a 200mm
lens?
