I have noticed this too. There is a scattering of nice stuff, and an OM10/20
with relative undesirables (cheap offbrand zooms) in tow. I suspect there
are still a few Zuiks out there snapping up the better stuff when it's
reasonably priced. However, secondhand shop prices are a little lower than
2-4 years ago. The answer IMO is to 'Do a Doris' (with apologies, Ms Fang)
and scour non-specialist locations - boot sales, private ads in local papers
etc.

Already got one thanks, and one is quite enough ;-) [puzzled Zuiks might
understand if I told you this acronym always makes me think of Roman
Catholics, not Oly rangefinders. Sorry]

After seeing their ad in several issues I rang Ace Cameras recently. They
offered me what I'd call particularly ungenerous prices on a couple of
things I thought of selling, yet they are one of the most expensive outlets
I've seen advertising secondhand OM gear in the UK. At least they give me
some kind of upper limit for what retailers expect for a piece. US list
members not aware of the market over here and may wince in sympathy when I
say that most things go for the same price in pounds sterling here as they
pay in dollars. There are other places to buy/sell. I check MXV and Ffordes
(www.ffordes.co.uk) regularly. You won't necessarily find a bargain, but you
get a feel for what hangs around and what gets snapped up.

The free version's great too IMHO.
