Veteran List subscribers will know that $157 is market price on The
Olympus OM Way. Amazon.com doesn't actually sell this. They have
arrangements with used book sellers to list their inventory. PawPaw is
always the top dollar offering in Amazon searches. They had a $166 sale
to a OM List subscriber about 1 1/2 years ago and got greedy ever since
with $300+ prices. Anyone looking at the list of bidders will see their
bid of around $117. Doesn't take much math to know they are tripling
the price.
I think they recently bought one of their copies for $12 from a UK based
bookseller.
For pure information per pound, it is hard to beat Shipman, followed by
an Olympus Sales Information File. The absolute worst information per
pound (IMHO) is Barbara London's "A Short Course in Olympus
Photography."
