Greetings Mr. Smith, the FP/X switch should be set
to "X", the shutter speed to 1/60. To test the flash
sync do this; take the film out of the camera, remove
the lens, attach the flash to the camera with the sync
cord and point the flash toward the camera. Open the
back and hold a 2x3in. piece of paper on the film
rails, be careful not to let the paper or your fingers
poke the shutter curtians. Now turn on the flash, and
fire the shutter, if the sync is OK the full 24x36
frame will light, if only part of the frame is
illumnated the sync is off adjustment and needs to be
serviced. Try this test at several shutter speeds and
you will get a better idea of why the top sync speed
on a horzonital run, roller blind shutter is 1/60 sec.
