Took the information off of the table on Paul Farrar's site without looking
at my 50/1.2:

I have 50/1.2 S/N 11365* and it's missing a blade too! Just pulled up
Paul's table and it now shows 8 blades in the table (updated 02/08/00; a
fixed typo?). Should have known better and remembered this photo. You can
_clearly_ see how many blades it has on my web site in this photo taken
using the 50/1.2!
