If yours ends up in the Exc range, I would say you will be very happy with
it.
The 35-70 f3.6 is one of the sleepers in the used market. Many stores don't
realize its value because there are so many different 35-70's.
A very good buy on your part.

Ps, Head Warren's warning. If you put a filter on it, be very careful not
to un-screw the front part of the lens when you take it off. Or you will be
playing 352 ball bearing pick up!
