For now, this will be the last message on this topic I will post to the list
until I have a new e-mail account etc.
First off, this is a reaminder that the shooting season for the first of the
themed events is open now (remember: Feb 14th - March 6th). It remains to be
seen when I can actually start processing submissions, but that should be
close to the end of the shooting interval.
Then the name of the events, well I was hoping everyone would agree on "The
Olympus Photo Challenge", however, it seems some people dislike the word
"challenge" in there, even though the themed event by no means has a
"winner", and as such is not a contest.
So, what to choose?
If we can all live with "The Olympus Photo Challenge", then I suggest we use
that. If not, then I propose to use either "The Olympus Photo Exhibition",
or "The Eye Of Zuiko", which I think are fine too, and especially the former
of those two looks descriptive/impressive enough in one's portfolio.
Any and all input on this (especially from Ian and John, as they are a bit
balanced against using the "challenge" title) can be sent to:
ogreve@xxxxxxxxxxx. Otherwise, if anyone objects against either of the other
two title suggestions, or can add a really brilliant different suggestion,
please send them to the same e-mail address too.
In some 2-3 hours from now I will uns*bscribe from the list, and I expect to
be back on it around the beginning of March, so any and all communication,
please send it to the Hotmail address. Sorry for being so short on time that
I've hardly been able to get into detail on some of the topics treated on
the list that concern me too, and the same goes for debugging your homepage
Acer (I'll hope to have a another look at that later still)...

PS: The "OM-4T" suggestion was not bad either, but the total amount of
themed events is to surpass 4, so the name would be a bit incorrect...
