Since the 2000 is a metal body with metal mirror box, screwed together,
focusing accuracy  should be good if each body is set up properly at the
factory.  Rough handling during the cameras life  will affect how long these
settings stay within factory tolerance.
under normal use, I think the 2000 will hold focus accuracy as long as any
OM body would. It won't change with age unless it's helped along BWO impact.
