Unless you have the remote switch mounted next to the handle on the
stroboframe, which then plugs in to your MD 2 or Winder 2. This makes it
really nice - you can hold the stroboframe on the right, support the lens
with your left hand, just like it was meant to be.

I think it is a more usual way to mount a bracket because the
shutter release is on the other side.
unless the particular bracket has some sort of release built
in, it would be difficult for me to take photos.
I use a Stroboframe flip flash and would find it very difficult
if the bracket was on the other side.
With a winder attached I have a grip on both sides.
Very convenient.
I am kind of weird because I take verticals with the
shutter button on top or bottom when no bracket is used.
Usually on the bottom though.
I don't know why.

====I've noticed that in all the stroboframe (and other bounce grip)
illustrations I've seen, the stroboframe is to the left of the camera
body. Any particular reason for that? It puts the camera in an
awkward position when using vertically with Motor Drive 2, and puts a
right eyed person at a disadvantage. Am I missing something basic, or
am I doomed to choose between using grips backwards and having an
awkward grip on my camera.======
