Hi-
Zinc-air: probably, because the battery is smaller than the mercury version it
has a washer around it.  I got one a year and a half ago.  It said "Wein cell"
on the package.  Once you pull off the plastic cover from the air holes, it
starts generating electricity and running down.  I have heard some say that it
will only last for a few months, but mine was still working when I took the
camera to Photosphere to be CLA'd and changed over to Alkyline.
