<snip>I'm wondering if anyone can compare the T-45, the Metz 45 CL3, and
a
T-32 on a BG2.<end snip>

Hi!....I have both a T-45 and a BG-2 with T-32 (sorry, no Metz)...they
both have a trigger located where your first finger would rest when the
grip is in the right hand...the winder cable jack is located in the
"baseplate" portion on the T-45 and is located in the "grip" portion on
the BG-2 ...as mentioned by others, the T-45 head looks like two T-32s
stacked vertically....the grip on the T-45 is quite a bit larger than
the BG-2 (you need a big hand....I'm 6ft 3in. tall and weigh 215 lb. and
my thumb and second finger don't quite meet when holding the T-45, my
thumb and second finger overlap by 1/2 inch on the BG-2)....the T-45 is
VERY heavy with the NiCad pack loaded (the pack contains 20 AA-size
cells)....also, the T-45 baseplate does not adjust vertically like the
BG-2....if you have not held a T-45 its a bit of a surprise....the T-45
is quite the beast!
