Hi,
I have an OM1 which has some serious problems with the shutter mechanism,
and I've be told it'll cost around £100 (this is about half the cost of a
new OM2000) to be repaired.

Some advice please. Is it worth having this repaired or should I consider
buying a second-hand one, perhaps upgrading to a later model. I do not
really have much more money to spend so I could afford a new OM 2000, but
nothing more.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Regards,

Sam Shiell
