Wow, something I didn't know. I hadn't heard that there were two
versions? I've never thought about it or tried, but does that mean that
OM1/2 backs won't fit the 2sp/3/4 bodies?

The reason the owner couldn't get it to fit is that they likely bought
the wrong model for their camera! Prospective buyers need to determine
if this is the OM-1/2 model or the OM-2S/3/4 model.
