I've been following P&S threads on newsgroups for a year or so, looking for
a replacement for my kaput Olympus AZ-1, and have seen several references to
intermittent autofocus failures with the Stylus/mju models, and the
performance of the Yashica T4 seems to be universally respected. I
particularly wanted 28mm focal length though, and as the equivalent of the
Stylus Wide isn't imported into the UK,  I was freed from that decision and
settled on a Pentax Espio/IQ 928, with which I have not been disappointed.
