I was surfing through that photo site links page that someone posted
today and found a rather interesting site. There's this machinist guy
who does large format camera repairs. I found the following page
http://www.skgrimes.com/popsci/index.htm particularily interesting since
it shows how a separating element can actually be repaired! There may
actually be hope for those Zuiko lenses which suffer from this problem.
No mention of price though, so it may still be uneconomical to repair.
For those people mechanically inclined, you'll probably find lots of
interesting information on his site (at least I did).
