It costs about the same or less than the Nikon version. It appears to be the
best 50mm lens ever made, based on comments from owners and from test data.
The center and corner resolution and contrast are very high and closer to
being the same across all f stops than any other 50mm lens that I'm aware
of. I think it's a deal myself.
