I've got the bits to do this with reversed lenses:

        1.  A 39mm to M42 step-up adapter
        2.  An M42 to 49mm reversing ring 
        3.  Reverse mount a zuiko lens (with 49mm filter thread).

(1 and 2 are both in the "$5 from your local camera store's junkbox" category).

When reversing a Zuiko for macro, some clever fiddling with a rubber
band can keep the step-down lever in position.    On many Zuiko
lenses it's easier to use a fairly strong rubber band around the whole
lens barrel to hold the DoF preview button down.
