The cover you described sounds like one from an OM-1 or OM-1n (and I
think OM-2 as well?)

This reminds me: back in January when I picked up a BG2, T32 and winder
2, the winder had a little black metal cover inside. Very handy, thought

I, because my second 2sp was missing the drive coupling cover. Trial
fitment however, revealed that although it would screw in, it was too
shallow to clear the coupling and jammed the winding mechanism. It can
be (and is being) used as a battery cover with the original battery
cover over the drive coupling (the original covers on the 2sp appear to
be identical).

Anyone know what this might have been from? it may not be a genuine Oly

article (doesn't have any words embossed in it). Oh yes, and instead of

a proper thread it just has two thin tabs, diametrically opposed, angled

to fit into the threads in the body.
