I just know of some manual focusing normal primes I SQF tested: The MC
58mm f/1.2 is divine.  The MD 50mm f/1.7 is an amazing optic for the
money, esp. at wider apertures (beats the "Made in Japan" 50mm f/1.8
Zuiko).  The 45mm f/2 and 50mm f/2 both stink, with the former worse
than the latter.

It would be interesting to know which Minolta lenses noted Canadian photographer Freeman Patterson uses. He is a Minolta devotee I believe.
