Hey -- my OM-1n has the same "problem." Or rather, I guess I have
the same problem. Nothing worse than hitting E on the frame counter
and continuing to take shots -- *click* 38 "wow, I guess I got a
long roll of film" *click* 39 "hey Fuji must have better control than
that" *click* 40 "oh s**t not again"

Hey -- I hadn't thought of that. I bet that will help. One question:
do you just stick the end of the film in the reel and use the friction
to hold it, or do you put the end in, perform the first winder crank,
and then lock the cassette in place?

Thanks (to you and Joel) for the tip.
