Dan,
Settle down now fella. Been using my OM-1 since '76 and only ever had this
happen once. If you want the sure cure a dab of nail polish at the base of
the switch --- once it is in x-synch position should solve it for you.
Didn't do mine - now just make sure I occasionaly check it.
