It was a democratic consensus that the List shall remain free of
postings which do nothing but provide links to items up for auction. It
is easy enough for anyone on the list to use eBay's Personal Shopper and
have eBay notify them anytime a specific item comes up for auction.
It was also a democratic consensus that the List shall remain free of
postings from full-time dealers. The unfortunate result is that some
"cream of the crop" equipment doesn't show up here first.
Over time, you will notice repeat sellers on eBay who back up their
equipment with warranties, assurances of it being within factory
tolerance, full disclosure of any flaws or blemishes, diagnostic quality
pictures of the ACTUAL item for sale, unconditional money back
guarantees, etc. You'll also learn from this list who are specialists in
what they sell and who are just opportunists. Every dealer I know who is
an Olympus OM specialist, as well as generalist dealers with strong OM
knowledge - are selling on eBay. None of them are selling on the OM
List.
