Thanks Mike and Tim (and anyone who I haven't received yet due to
Digest-lag) for the advice on charging the batteries for the MD2. I
will check out the references and proceed with caution.
Sending it to John H to replace the NiCds with NiMHs could be
logistically a little difficult, as the Atlantic Ocean is in the way!
