John H does a mod to put a small series diode in. Tim Hall talks about
disassembling to top of the camera and putting a 10 k resistor in parallel
with the meter movement. The MR9 adapters are at http://www.criscam.com/

lets you use the usual silver oxide batteries in the OM-1 instead of the
