It's cropped some, but not that much.  I was surprised to see that there was 
relatively little distortion (as I remember, it looked like a lot more in the 
viewfinder...)  Of course, the impressions of distortion depend entirely on the 
subject matter and framing -- I think I got lucky in this shot.  One thing I 
*do* try to always do with a 21mm is keep the imaginary horizon line running 
through the horizontal centre of the image, as well as keep it level (by this I 
mean, no tilting to the left or right).  Mind you, this rule can be creatively 
broken (and has been many times, though not by me -- I consider myself woefully 
non-creative...)  Sometimes you get a lot of garbage in the lower half of the 
picture, but you can always crop it.  This next image shows what I mean:

Good luck.  For what it's worth, I absolutely love the 21mm, but like I said, 
choose your subjects.  Sometimes I found myself rapidly switching between the 
21/2.0 and the 28/2.0 for effect differences.
