Hey - question and a comment. Longtime reader, longtime lurker,
occasional
poster. Anyways I just bought a 28 f/2 from KEH, very excited, it was
fairly expensive
but in beautiful condition (I am convinced they have the most
conservative
condition ratings I've ever seen). Anyways, I don't shoot wide angle
much
so this is probably a stupid question, but was wondering if I would see
any image degradation with a filter, because of the wide angle (simply
just a Tiffen Sky-1A).
If not, what lens should I start to worry? 24mm?

Comment also on 50mm 1.8, been using a Zuiko 50mm 1.8 (no MC label --
green
reflect and MC according to olympus) which I switched from an f.zuiko
50 mm (no green reflect). Anyway, after doing a number of blowups on
the
newer lens (Velvia/Cibachrome), I've come to the conclusing that the
f.zuiko
is far sharper than the other MC lens in similar condition (It is really
obvious).
Interesting, no? Anyway both lenses are in good, but not excellent
condition.
But newer doesn't always mean better, I guess.

Thanks for the great list!
