Well I can't say I have used both screens in an OM1 or 2 but I had a 1-13
in my 4Ti and replaced it with a 2-4 - same brightness as a 2-13 except it
is all matt with no focusing aids.
I have never been remotely tempted to switch back to the 1-13. The 2-4
makes achieving accurate focus much easier for me. When a 2 series
screen is spot on in focus there is a slight shimmer to finely detailed
areas on the matt part of the screen. It snaps for me.
