For simplicity (& more pix) I'd like to suggest that you change your
shooting dates to calendar months, with submissions for 3 weeks after,
giving you a week to tidy things up before display on the 1st of the month.
Would be a bit more work for you
By means of a poll on the list we democratically established a maximum of 6
events per year. We then decided that 2 out of these would be ADITL events,
and 4 of them would be TOPE events.
That would mean that "only" 4 full calendar months would be chosen when
following your suggestion, as doing 1 theme each month is too heavy a
schedule for me (and probably for you guys too)...
Also, the dates were carefully picked so they could be intertwined well with
the ADITL events taking place on the winter's and summer's solstices. I then
decided to give each TOPE event roughly a 6 weeks shooting interval, so as
many people as possible could participate because the shooting interval is
not so tight...
Personally I think this idea works quite o.k., although there's also
something to be said for your suggestion. For now, I'll leave the events as
they are planned and will see how that will go. I will make a "mental note"
of your suggestion, and after we've done some 3 or 4 TOPE events I will see
if a change to the schedule is desired...

lite) of people - sports

Ah, on another TOPE note: as most of the people who replied to my question
about the initial 2 weeks of anonimity indicated that they do indeed like
such a period, this will indeed happen. So, just like for ADITL, the first 2
weeks are anonymous, and then the names will be disclosed (sorry Barry...).
