Hi Tom,

Its me again :).  I am in the process of narrowing down a choice for a 
printer also for myself.  Picked up a Minolta Scan Dual now I need a printer
to go with it.  All feedback and readings seems to point to Epson so I
am investigating the 870/1270 line.  If you wouldn't mind,  I'd like a fragment
to see what type of quality is possible.  Was just offered a 1200 for $650 CDN,
so am going to find out what the big difference between the new and old
is.  Being the type of person I am,  I cannot take the fancy looking canned
picture that the printer spews out as a demo from Epson.  Need some real
life comparisons on good photo paper.  Your offer was most opportune. Thanks.
