I´d say an errata. How do you prove that your lens from 1992 has no floating
element (FE) ?
My OM4ti-prospectus (1986) and the one of the OM3ti (1994), and a OM-System
book
(c) in 1989 all flag the 85 f/2 as FE. I remember a brochure the 90 f/2-Macro
wasn`t flaged
- a Errata.

I know only one Zuiko-lens-table where the 2/85 isn`t marked as a floting
Elements lens.
It is a OM-1 Manual dated to 02/73 (Printed in Germany). But there is no lens
marked
to have floating Elements ((FE).
This may indicate:
* They payed no attention to FE .
* FE was introduced later in the Zuiko line.
-> There sould be very early-Versions of the F.E lenses without FE.
* The optical design changed when the lenses were really available.
As far as I know, not all System components, anounced with the OM-1,
has been available at once in the 70`s. -> All FE-type lenses have FE.
For Example: The 1973-table mention a Zuiko 400 f/4.5 (6/5), 2200g, 257mm.
But I know, this lens was never available, althogh it`s shown on the picture.
