I compared an IS-2 to an IS-1 and couldn't see how the 2 had been improved.
It STILL couldn't lock on a moving object.  The IS-3 wins hands down.

| Ditto.  Got an iS-2 for my mom, and borrow it whenever I can.  Great
camera,
| the only AF SLR that's really grabbed my attention.  I tried an iS-3 and
