That's something I couldn't check in the store, John. I couldn't persuade
anyone to run around like my grandkids so I could determine how the iS-3
performs on moving targets. ;-) But I'll definitely take your word for it.
Anyhow, much as I like mom's iS-2, the iS-3 has the focal range I want.
I'm gonna wait 'til the right bargain in a used one turns up.
BTW, I keep hearing assertions from local dealers that the iS-3 has already
been discontinued. I hope Olympus is planning to replace it with an iS-4
and not just assume everyone will be happy with the iS-30.
