It seems Oly have released two new digital models in Japan. One, the C-990
Zoom, is
appearently an updated version of C-900/-920/-960 Zoom with 2.11 M pixels and
Motion
JPEG. The other, the C-2100 Ultra Zoom, is a completely new SLR model and
seems to
be the ultimate digital. What do you say about a 10X optical zoom in a digital
(eqvivalent to 35~400 mm in a 35 mm camera?)?
This news is only a couple of days old (2000.6.15). Unfortunately so far all
text is
in Japanese only. Do we have anyone here that can give us some more info on
these new
releases? TIA.
