I'd suggest doing a search on the '99 archive for *gamex* -- should enlighten.
But here's my paraphrase: They meter at 1.48 volts causing about a one stop
error and there's some doubt about whether they're even real HG bats.

I've tried these batteries. They seem to work well. What's the fabled problem?
