Hi Thomas,
Just a brief note on my view on learner cameras: If the young gentleman is
really serious about learning the craft he should definitely have a camera
with full manual capability. The OM1 and -2 are obvious candidates. Models
with cumbersome manual metering, like the OM40, misdirect the user into
automatic modes.
