Hi Ross:

Kodak put out a large soft cover book on slide presentations.  I recall
it covered everything.

There is a projector repair specialist in Santa Barbara, CA called Kx -
but that isn't going to do you any good down there in Oz.

I extensively used a super wide angle Golden Navitar projection lens.  I
think it was a 38mm - at any rate it was their shortest.  I used to sit
all day in front of a 60 or so inch wide projected image and do aerial
photo interpretation of 35mm color slides. It can be said I knew the
characteristics of that lens! I sure had to use the focus adjustment a
lot. There was greater than normal curvature of field, high center
resolution, good edge resolution (better than any Kodak lens), ultra
high contrast, color fringing in the corners.
