Dunno whether you do in fact have a registry problem or whether this
suggestion will help, but when my Win 95 registry was spiked a couple of
years ago (by a Sierra Online uninstall utility - watch out for 'em), oddly
the only thing affected was the ability to get online. I finally had to
completely reinstall Win 95 and that did the trick. Didn't lose any
existing data.
