Ansel Adams comments in one of his books that Kodak commissioned
some from him and Weston, sourced from large format reversal film.
And he comments that Weston's started on Ektachrome which has
since spoiled, and that the B&W separations would have been the only
surviving copies of these shots. Unfortunately Kodak destroyed them
because of the high storage costs.
