Hi,

I note your 'look for' items...

Yes, I checked at work today (I work for a metropolitan council), and it
seems we will have to use a specialist for this. I think this is the first
move next week, make an organised heap in the rear courtyard. This aspect
comes first and not a job for fun...

There where some canon items, but i don't know an a1 from an ae1, but we
will list the lot at some point.

Haven't got a lot of time though, my pal is on compassionate leave, and will
run the shop for the next month, when he intends to close the business. What
do you do with the negative collection from a studio for instance?, there
isnt another business in the town (well a Boots)?.. Some date back to the
1920's...May be of no importance, or could be of social importance.

My initial thoughts where to donate to the local museum, but I had another
thought and have decided to contact the British Photographic Society for
their ideas..

This is turning out to bigger than i first glibly thought............Duh
such is life...

regards

David

Hi David Low,

Saw your find on the Oly List. I am sure many people on the list would be
interested in the olympus items.

Regarding disposing chemicals I think the present health & safety
regulations require that any large disposal has to be carried out properly.
In the first instance I would check with the local council about disposing
chemicals.

I might be interested in the Oly OM (M1 items if there are any) , Pen FT and
Canon items.

Regards,

Dinkar
