Incidentally, he still owes me the picture of a girl in a grass skirt,
promised in return for my loan of a couple of lenses for his celebratory
trip to Hawaii <g>.

Yes, indeed -- congratulations.
It induces a sense of wonderment at this point that all that
lucubration really has paid off.
Then you find out that working in he world can sometimes seem like
writing an endlessly revised dissertation.
